NCSoft has unveiled an upcoming content update preview for Blade & Soul Live servers. While some players continue exploring the NEO Classic remaster, the original client is gearing up for a significant endgame shake-up: a higher skill level cap, major dungeon tier swaps, and long-awaited inventory expansions.

Higher skill caps and fresh progression gear

The primary driver of the shifting meta will be an increased Skill Level cap, moving up from Level 30 to Level 40. For veteran raiders, this brings direct scaling boosts to skill damage multipliers and adjustments to familiar rotations. Character progression will also expand through new equipment pieces: the Rising Moon Stone, Furious Quake Talisman, and Irrepressible Heart.

Alongside these items, accessory Gildstone slots will be expanded. Min-maxers will need to optimize their setups once again, socketing higher-tier stones to handle incoming endgame challenges.

Dungeon tier swaps and refreshed rewards

PvE encounters are undergoing a noticeable rotation. The Aerodrome is transitioning down from Demonsbane tier to a standard Heroic Dungeon. Taking its spot at the peak of scaling difficulty is Namdo Shrine, which will now become a Demonsbane Dungeon with ramping affixes, tighter mechanics, and higher boss damage.

Older endgame activities are getting a reward pass as well. To keep daily grinds relevant, updated item drops and quest rewards will be rolled out across Shrouded Ajanara, Circle of Sundering, Spectral Shrine, and Den of the Ancient.

Doubled stone storage and bag expansion

Long-awaited quality-of-life adjustments round out the update. General inventory space will increase from 96 to 112 slots, offering much-needed relief during extended farming sessions.

Even bigger changes are coming to specialized storage: Splendor Stone capacity is doubling from 48 up to 96 slots. NCSoft plans to share deployment dates and complete patch notes in the coming days.
